Selected public foundations

Our open-code direction covers the learning engine, MartyGraphics, course/project formats, command-line tools (CLI) and simulated terminal. Apache-2.0 code and CC BY-SA 4.0 original courses are planned; actual releases will carry their own license files. Instructor and third-party material is not relicensed by this plan.

The hosted Plus service

Managed AI access and hosted catalog/community services would be separate from the open core, along with premium content and hosted AI tuning. This is a future hosted option. Joining the interest list is no purchase or commitment.

COMMUNITY COURSES · COMING SOON

Good ideas deserve a clear trail.

We plan to accept original course contributions through GitHub PRs once repositories open. Clear licenses, source notes and quality checks should make it easy to understand what you’re learning from.

Official: Planned label for courses maintained by Morrowdock. It identifies the maintainer, not a guarantee of perfect answers.
Verified: Planned label for a specific course version that has passed documented content and validator review. It is not accreditation or a learner certification.
Community: Planned label for contributed courses, with review status visible. Community does not mean independently verified.

These are proposed label meanings, not badges already awarded to any course.

Your learning should be portable. We’re building toward versioned Course Bundles and import/export paths for Common Cartridge, Anki, Markdown and Jupyter notebooks.

BRING YOUR OWN AI · COMING SOON

Choose what thinks with you.

Our connection plan includes OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter (including available free models), Gemini (including eligible free-tier use) and local models via Ollama. Support is being built; not every model or feature will work through every connection.

Free tiers have limits and provider terms can change. You choose your connection and pay any provider usage directly; paid AI is always opt-in. No silent paid fallback.

Current service information: OpenRouter free models, Gemini API tiers, Ollama local models. These links don’t connect an account or send your learning work.

MORROWDOCK SERVER · COMING SOON

Free self-hosted Morrowdock Server is the plan, with a one-command Docker setup as the target. We’ll publish the real image, setup command and requirements when they’re ready.

No runnable command or public image is available here yet. Self-hosting software would be free; your hardware, hosting and AI usage costs are separate.

PRIVACY BY CHOICE · IN DEVELOPMENT

A home you control.

Our intended default homes for learning data: your device, your iCloud or your own server. Hosted Plus would be a separate choice. That’s the storage direction, not a claim that every planned feature is already implemented.

When you choose a cloud AI service, the context needed for that run goes to that service under its terms. Local models can keep that processing on your own hardware. Don’t assume a free cloud tier has the same data handling as an on-device model.
